When we first set out to build RAMP, our client was struggling to monitor vast areas in real time—whether it was crowded events, critical infrastructure, or highway intersections. Their existing systems were a patchwork of standalone CCTV feeds and manual logs, meaning crucial alerts often came too late. It was a daily scramble just to react to incidents after they had already escalated. Our challenge was to create a central platform that could digest these diverse streams instantly, highlight critical threats, and help security teams respond in mere minutes, instead of hours.

At the outset, we discovered that managing such large volumes of live data was no small feat. We had to unify multiple camera types, legacy control systems, and incomplete APIs—all while ensuring near-zero downtime.
